The 265,000 SF building is an approximate ten-story building and subsurface parking garage on a 1.8-acre site on Niagara Square across from City Hall. We are providing complete civil engineering services for site design of paving, walkways, landscape, storm drainage, sanitary sewers and waterlines. The project involves LEED® elements to promote resource conservation principles in design. The site occupies a lane of West Mohawk Street and requires relocation of public utilities to make room for the plaza. The project involves multiple consultants and coordination between trades is a key element. Watts is a sub-consultant to Kohn Pederson Fox Associates, P.C. who are the prime consultants for this project. Traffic signal relocations, street light replacements, streetscape landscaping, and security bollard integration are some of the challenging elements that are involved.
