Construction Inspection Services

Watts provided three construction inspectors to oversee the construction on new alignment of 6.8 km of the Southern Expressway (Route 219, Section V, from Peters Road to NY Rte 39), including new Portland cement concrete mainline pavement and the construction of eleven bridges. Eight single-span bridges carry proposed Rte 219 over existing roads. One two-span bridge carries a local road over proposed Rte 219 and two steel ribbed arch bridges carry Rte 219 over the Cattaraugus Creek Gorge. The estimated construction cost is $83 million dollars.
